Forth & Clyde Canal

The design is a map of the Forth & Clyde Canal and the Union Canal, with buildings of note on the route, with a thistle and tartan design round as a border. The finished size is 20 x 37 cms approx.

Kit comprises evenweave fabric, chart, DMC stranded cottons, organiser cards and needle.

This consists of 4 designs arranged vertically. From top to bottom the pictures are- Bowling Basin, Clobberhill Locks, Kelvin Aqueduct and The Union Inn. Surrounded by a blue border. Finished design 13½"" x 5" approx.

Design shows a boat passing the Union Inn on the Forth & Clyde Canal, this is where the Forth & Clyde and Union canals met, with the Union Canal locking up through 11 locks. These locks have now been replaced by the Falkirk Wheel. Finished size 5" x 3½" approx.
